Mary Anne Wolfe has operated her own calligraphy business in New York City since 1987. Among her many private and corporate clients are Cartier, Bvlgari, Fendi, Bear Stearns, McGraw-Hill, Ernst and Young, Showtime, Asprey, Colgate-Palmolive and Columbia University. She is a member of the Society of Scribes and has just completed her fourth year on the Societys Board of Governors and her third and final year as President in February 2001. In the fall of 1999 she was the Managing Director of the major exhibition, Artist & Alphabet; 20th Century Calligraphy and Letter Art in America held at the American Institute of Graphic Arts in New York City.
