Neil Bromley, Heraldic Artist, Calligrapher, Illuminator in Stationery Business Directory
Welcome to the studio web site of Neil Bromley, Heraldic Artist, Calligrapher, and Medieval Illuminator. As a practicing Heraldic artist, it is my interest to create the best possible artwork for each of my clients, using traditional techniques, and materials. All work is hand painted, and there is no use of modern technology to produce the work, and is very much individually catered for. Please feel free to explore the web pages, of past and present commissions, which I have been honoured to produce, or the For Sale page where you will find individually hand painted items direct for sale. Should you wish to commission an original piece of artwork please see the commission page, and I hope that I can be of guidance and assistance in your personal request. To read more information on Neil Bromley,Neil Bromley studied art at college for six years, finally graduating with H.N.D. in Calligraphy and Heraldry at Reigate School of Art in 1995. Whilst studying at Reigate he was awarded two bursaries from the Worshipful Company of Scriveners and the Company of Painters/Stainers. Neil returned to Devon, his home county, and established himself in Exeter as an Heraldic Artist and Illuminator. He was given his first commissions from Exeter City Council, producing Illuminated Address’, and was elected a member of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen, where he still continues to exhibit work. Neils work includes the painting of family crests, shields and full coats of arms, freedom scrolls, Baronial Assignations, and Grants of Arms, Heraldic work for reproduction, Calligraphic work, and the reproduction of medieval manuscript pages.
