After 21 years of buying and selling books UnEarthly Videos and Books ( now UnEarthly Books) opened their doors in Long Beach California. Unearthly Books was recognized and featured in the Los Angeles Times, Long Beach Press Telegram as well as Dak Clarks Column in Orange County Blade. In 1993 an overhead water pipe broke during the night and flooded the store destroying 90% of the inventory, which was not covered by insurance. The previous year we had discovered the Internet (pre graphic interface) and decided to start selling books through the medium. Since 2001 we have maintained our own site growing slowly and steadily finding homes for our books. Grandson Joshua seems to have inherited the Book Collecting Bug and hopefully will be working the site when he graduates college in 14 years or so.
