Where We Began, In October of 1984 my husband, Tim, and I (Susan) started Tims Book Exchange at 440 Watt Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada R2K 2R7. Slowly we expanded our business and tore down walls. In 1990 the Laundromat that occupied most of the building we are in, moved out and we were faced with a dilemma, do we look for another tenant, or take the space ourselves? Well, we decided to take the space ourselves and spent every Sunday for the next 14 months remodeling and building shelving. In March of 2000 we bought a new computer on payment and hooked up to the Internet. Then we discovered eBay. We started selling on eBay that month and by the end of the first three months we had paid for the computer. How We Became PaladinBooks, The cost and limitations of eBay keep rising, so in 2002 we decided that in order to give our customers the level of service we want to give, a website was in order. We have always been great fans of the TV show Have Gun Will Travel starring Richard Boone who played Paladin, so we combined Paladin with what we sell and came up with PaladinBooks. We use the internets predominant currency. All of our prices and shipping amounts are quoted in US DOLLARS ALL SALES ARE FINAL so please e-mail before ordering. We never mind answering questions. To us it doesnt matter how many e-mails it takes before your are satisfied that you know exactly what you are getting.
