Stanley and Laurel Schwartz are the owners of Schwartz Judaica which has been in operation since 1989. We sell out-of-print books of Jewish interest, primarily in English, but in several other languages as well. We sell by mail order catalog and on the internet to customers all over the world. We are always interested in buying scholarly Judaica and libraries. Since 1989, we have published four Judaica catalogs a year with about 600 books in each. These contain our most recent acquisitions and are available in hardcopy and by e-mail. Please let us know if you would like to be added to either mailing list. Our website: www.schwartzjudaica.com contains over 2000 books. The books we sell are mainly out-of-print and not available from publishers. The books can be from several years old to several hundred years old. We stock over 3000 titles. If you are looking for a special title which you dont see on our website, please inquire. Our customers range from collectors to scholars to major libraries and universities. We have exhibited at the Association of Jewish Libraries Convention, various other scholarly conferences and at local venues. Professional organizations include the Association for Jewish Studies, the Western Jewish Studies Association, the Association of Jewish Libraries, and the San Diego Booksellers Association. Other business and community related organizations include: the San Diego Jewish Genealogical Society, the Congress of History and the American Jewish Historical Society. The Schwartzes are both officers in the Jewish Historical Society of San Diego and have edited a book about San Diego Jewish history.
