We have been selling old and rare books since 1992. After years of collecting, I came back to New York after some extensive travel and decided to ruin a perfectly good hobby and make it my lifes work. Fortunately I still enjoy it as much as when it was a hobby. In 1997, I started this website and began offering catalogues online to supplement the book fairs, mail order business, and retail location I had established. In 2000, my wife, Michele, joined me and we greatly expanded our online catalogs. In 2001, at a time when bookstores were closing by the dozen to become virtual online shops only, we did the exact opposite and opened our new location in Bloomfield, New York near the city of Rochester. We look forward to seeing our longtime customers drop by and meeting new customers every day. With over ten years of experience behind us, we have enjoyed expanding our customer base all over the world via this website. It has afforded us some great opportunities to help build some world class personal and institutional collections. It is also always gratifying to put a book into the hands of a person who has been looking for it for years, no matter how ordinary the book may be. They interfere with her lap time and getting petted. You can ask to meet her. She is not usually around the books. Hershey Kisses Hershey Kisses is very friendly and thinks everyone comes here to visit him. You can ask to meet him. He is allowed to meet customers if they want to. If you have children, he can sometimes entertain them while you browse in the barn. Hershey also likes to ride in the van on the numerous house-calls we make.
