Bibliophile Bookbase went on-line in late 1999 as the first multi-lingual, multi-dealer booklisting service. Since that time, our books for sale list has grown to over four million items. In 2004, we deployed a completely new and greatly enhanced web site and database that supports Greek, Cyrillic and simplified Chinese display plus multiple images for single sale items. Our intelligent search interface makes precise searches easy while taking into account common inaccuracies in accented characters and wording. Bibliophile Bookbase is a division of ammonet, the Zurich-based information technology company founded by Jack Benson in 1997. We specialise in web site/database interface development and content management interfaces, including the design, development and hosting of bibliographical web sites, and web sites for scholarly societies and the tourism sector. ammonet is an accredited supplier of British Library MARC records.
