Parents - Phoebe Flowers Adventures have been written by Barbara Roberts especially for children with ADD/ADHD in mind. This unique series is designed to give your child books that he or she will love to read, over and over, identifying with Phoebe and her foibles, laughing with her, learning about ADD/ADHD and developing a love of reading. Barbara Roberts is an author and kindergarten teacher in Upstate New York. She has written several stories to help children and their families deal with issues such as ADHD, Alzheimers Disease, friendship and everyday problems which young people encounter. Barbara obtained a Speech Therapy degree from the University of Buffalo and worked as a speech therapist before completing her graduate work in elementary education. The ideas for Barbaras stories have come from her experience as a mother of three children, a speech therapist and a teacher whose students have shared their concerns and adventures with her.
