Covers all aspects of dog obedience. Author profile and a list of other works. Sarah Varney MBIPDT has been successfully training dogs in obedience and agility for twenty-five years. Her first dog, a Border Collie, was a birthday present and as a teenager, Sarah took her first tentative steps as a handler with an obedience dog training association in Southampton, Hampshire. She later progressed to agility classes, training with Peter Lewis and his Burridge agility team. Her talent for handling and training dogs was spotted early and Sarah has worked with various clubs and privately all over the UK. Having retired from obedience and agility competitions, Sarah offers private and class obedience lessons to all handlers and dogs. This is her first book on dog training although she is a published corporate writer. Sarah Varney is also an artist with paintings in private collections. She lives in Lancashire but returns regularly to Uppingham for the childrens summer school and for the annual dog show.
