This website is meant as a companion to Bob Flaws & James Lakes book, Chinese Medical Psychiatry. It is intended for students and practitioners of Chinese medicine as well as practitioners of other health care systems interested in Chinese medicine and psychiatry to do further research in this area. Although Drs. Flaws and Lake spent more than a year researching and writing their book, they could not include everything, even in such a large and exhaustive book. In addition, time marches on and new materials constantly become available. Therefore, this website is a respository of supplemental materials which did not make the cut or which were found or translated after the text of Chinese Medical Psychiatry was frozen. Hopefully, Chinese Medical Psychiatry will be adopted as the textbook for a course of this title at English language acupuncture and Oriental medical colleges all over the world. If so, this site will also provide students researching and writing papers on Chinese medical psychiatry with links to other websites at which they can continue and expand such research.
