lori was formally diagnosed with Panic Anxiety Disorder in the early 1990s. It was at this time that she started on a quest to find information about this debilitating disorder. She entered into an intense psychotherapy program for the next seven years. As her memories, about her life with this little known disorder returned, she began to write them down. This book is the result of her capturing what it was like to grow up with this disorder as a child and also capturing what she saw as she watched her children and her grandchildren grow up with Anxiety Disorder. lori graduated when she was an older adult with a Bachelors degree in Heath Education. She has a strong nursing background and has done graduate work in the Clinical Social Work field. She applied the skills she learned during her education to learning all she could about panic disorder and its effects on children.
