In 1969 Peter Harrington began selling books from the Chelsea Antiques Market on London’s King’s Road. His business has now grown into one of London’s largest and best-known rare book firms. In 1997 we moved to much larger premises on Fulham Road, where we have more than 20,000 volumes spread over four floors. Peter passed away in 2003 and the business is now run by his son, Pom Harrington. Our sister shop, Old Church Galleries, offers a wide selection of rare maps and prints at 98 Fulham Road, next door to the bookshop. We are members of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association (ABA), the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB) and of the Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association (PBFA).
