Alex Bond was born in Perth, Western Australia. He developed a strong interest in visual arts, initially in drawing and then later in photography. For several years he combined his interest in bush walking with his passion for landscape photography, having work published in books, agazines, diaries and calendars.In 1989 he formed Stormlight Publishing specialising in high quality postcards of Western Australian landscapes.His commitment to making beautiful images and reproducing them in high quality publications has become a hallmark of Alex Bonds work which has featured award winning greeting cards, postcards, gift cards and calendars.Alex primarily uses a large format camera for his landscape work, often backpacking into locations.
